What the Steam version adds

Steam Deck compatibility is Verified. Not “playable” — verified.

Other labels: HDR available, 49 Steam achievements, Steam Cloud saves, Family Sharing, and full controller support including DualShock, DualSense, and the Steam Input API.

There is also a 10% first-week discount: $59.99 to $53.99, ending September 23, 2026.

Does content differ by platform

Everything the official platform page lists is the same across all four: single-player, full voice acting in English and Japanese, re-recorded music, hybrid combat, fast travel, fishing, poker, cooking, Viewer Mode, and 3D characters and environments.

No platform-exclusive content is listed.

The differences sit in platform features:

What the publisher has not published

There is no resolution or frame rate table. For Switch 1 versus Switch 2, the only official statement is that each runs at its own version’s spec.

There is no macOS or Linux version. Steam’s platform field lists Windows only.

No other platforms have been announced. This site will not speculate.

For the Switch 2 cartridge format and upgrade path, see the Switch 2 version breakdown.
